  2.  Common Errors Encountered Using NetTalk (in Windows only)

  5. o    NetTalk was unable to find your network drivers.
  6.           
  7.           - you must be running your network software to run
  8.             NetTalk.
  9.  
  10.           - to find out your IPX.COM version, type "IPX -I
  11.             IPX.COM should be 3.10 or newer (1992 or newer).
  12.                
  13.           - to find out your IPXODI version, type "IPXODI"
  14.             IPXODI should be (check with your dealer)
  15.             or newer (1992 or newer).

  18. o    You must be logged in to run NetTalk!
  19.  
  20.           - verify that you are logged in to the network.
  21.  
  22.           - if this error occurs in SETUPW.EXE, your IPX    
  23.             drivers may be out of date (see previous error  
  24.             message).
  25.  
  26.           - if this error occurs in NETTALKW.EXE or         
  27.             NETPLUSW.EXE, your NETX or NET5 shell may be    
  28.             out of date. Update to a shell version of 3.26  
  29.             or newer (about 1992 or newer).

  32. o    NetTalk was unable to open: LANCFG.DAT.
  33.  
  34.           - you need to run SETUPW.EXE to create this file.

  37. o    NetTalk was unable to open: DIRECTRY.DAT.
  38.           
  39.           - if you have installed NetTalk Plus+ in the same
  40.             directory as an existing NetTalk installation,  
  41.             you must re-install NetTalk Plus+ in a seperate
  42.             directory.
